Wrestling competes at Pete Willson Invitational

WHEATON, Ill. – Numerous nationally ranked teams and individuals were at the Pete Willson Invitational and Concordia Wisconsin had a difficult time gaining wins on Friday.

THE BASICS
Location: King Arena (Wheaton, Ill.)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Mitchell Slatton (Granger, Ind.) was the most successful wrestler for the Falcons with a pair of wins. He defeated Luke Carver (Trine) by major decision, 9-1, before pinning Alex Kerr (Nebraska Wesleyan) in four minutes and 35 seconds.
- Sophomore Ramiro Vasquez (Yuma, Ariz.) won by decision 10-8 SV-1 over Santino Disabato (Otterbein).
- Junior Eric Martinson (Milwaukee, Wis.) picked up a 15-5 major decision win over Christian Koch (Otterbein).
