Mack Willy Signs with the Columbus River Dragons

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Columbus River Dragons announced that Mack Willy has signed a PTO with the team for the 2023-24 season. The goalie from Tacoma, Washington, recently completed his storied career with the Concordia Wisconsin ACHA men's hockey team.

The Columbus River Dragons are a Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) member. The FPHL is a single A minor professional hockey league.

"I'm really excited to be playing after college," said Willy. "It was always my goal to develop through college and find a place to play after, and Concordia was perfect for that. Our coaches finding such high-level competition for us and the school making it possible for us to travel like we do is so important and I'm really grateful for everything the program has to offer. Finding another place of such quality in Columbus makes my first year after school even more exciting for me."

Willy was a four-year starter for the ACHA men's hockey team in the net. During his tenure, the Falcons advanced to the ACHA Division II National Tournament on two separate occasions.

The River Dragons open the season on October 26 at Baton Rouge.
