LaNea Bartel honored for claiming the NACC crown

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced LaNea Bartel as its Student-Athlete of the Week for women's cross country on Tuesday morning.

A senior from Kewaunee, Wisconsin, LaNea Bartel is claiming the honor for the second time this season.

This is the third time in her career that she has earned the honor.

On Saturday, she was the individual champion at the NACC Championship with a winning time of 24:45.97.

Bartel is the first Falcon to be the NACC Runner of the Meet since Samantha Gries in 2009.
