Women’s Cross Country posts best NACC finish since 2017
WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Falcons had a lot to cheer about on Saturday at the NACC Championships. The Falcons finished in second place as a team with 38 points, only seven points behind Edgewood.
Senior LaNea Bartel (Kewaunee, Wis.) was the individual medalist with a winning time of 24:45.97.
Freshman Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.) was named the Freshman of the Meet with a third-place time of 25:10.13.
Sophomore MaryGrace Cleinmark (Danvers, Ill.) earned All-NACC honors in seventh place at 25:52.53.
Senior Honey Rose Macatuno (Kodiak, Alaska) earned all-conference honors in 12th place at 27:02.87.
Sophomore Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) claimed the last all-conference slot in 15th place at 27:31.49.
Freshman Abigail Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 27:58.21 in 18th place.
In 27th place was freshman Naomi Gahan (Cedarburg, Wis.) at 29:16.33.
Sophomore Madison Chiappetta (Lenexa, Kan.) rounded out the CUW runners in 32nd place at 29:46.10.
