NEWSWORTHY NOTES
•  THE BEST MONTH FOR THE FALCONS:
Concordia Wisconsin always seems to be at or near the top of the conference in the past few years. It could be contributed to their dominating wins that come in April. Since 2014 the Falcons have gone 30-11 in April and so far this season they are 4-1 with all four wins coming against conference opponents.  They are averaging 15 goals-per-game, while only giving up double-digit goals in two games.
•  GETTING INTO SCORING POSITION: The Falcons rank first in the MWLC for shots on goal with 309. Getting into the teeth of the defense is key for Concordia Wisconsin's offensive attack, as are able to create space for others and generate 57 assists on the season, which ranks first in the conference.
• SCOUTING MONMOUTH: The Scots have a 2-10 overall record and a 1-6 MWLC record. Monmouth has been able to find creases in opposing defenses, as they rank first in the conference going 10-45 on free position goals and shots, which is a 22.2 free position percentage.
• THE SERIES, LAST TIME: The last time these two teams got together the Falcons came away with the 14-2 victory on March 26, 2017, which marked the first game of the series. Concordia Wisconsin will look to repeat that outcome this Saturday in the second all-time matchup.
• SCOUTING CORNELL: The Rams support a 6-6 record and a 4-4 record in the MWLC. After 1 games Cornell has relied on their defense, as they have 131 saves on the season that ranks fourth in the conference and a 48.5 percent save percentage that ranks second in the MWLC.
• THE SERIES, LAST TIME: The series has been owned by the Falcons, as Concordia Wisconsin has won all three matchups by an average of 12.3 goals. The last meeting between the two came on March 25, 2017, that resulted in a 17-2 Falcon victory.
