Paquin tagged with MWLC Defensive Player of the Week accolades
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's Lauren Paquin was tagged with Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced.
Paquin (Waukesha, Wis.) helped the Falcons split a pair of MWLC contests. The junior had a career-high 10 ground balls and eight caused turnovers, to go along with three draw controls during a home 15-7 win over Illinois Institute of Technology. The junior then had seven ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls at Hamline.
The conference weekly honor is the second of the season and third of her career.
