Women's Golf Opens Competition at Carthage

BRISTOL, Wis. - The CUW women's golf team competed in the Battle for the Boarder hosted by Carthage.

Junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) led the Falcons with a 17th-place finish and a score of 84 strokes.

Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) took second on the Blue and White squad with a 39th-place finish and a score of 89 strokes.

Freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) took third for the Falcons with a day score of 116 strokes and an 85th-place finish alongside sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with the same score.

Sophomore Joy Craig (Lake Orion, Mich.) rounded out the Falcon squad with a final day score of 120 strokes and an 87th-place finish.

The Blue and White finish day two of the tournament on Saturday.
