Round Three at Quit Qui Oc Comes to a Close

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. - The CUW women's golf team traveled to Quit Qui Oc Golf Course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin to compete in the final weekend of the NACC Championships.

The Falcons finished in fifth place after the third round with 1,182 strokes.  Aurora continues to lead through three rounds with a total of 1,007 strokes.

Both junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Wis.) and sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) lead the Falcons heading into round four with 275 total strokes.  Montaba finished round three with 94 strokes and Curley finished with 95 strokes.  

Freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) continued cutting strokes off her score when she finished round three with 104 strokes.  She currently sits in third place with 319 strokes.

Sitting not too far behind Grahn is sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) a 117-stroke round which left her with 322 total strokes.

Rounding out the Falcon squad was senior Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) with 353 total strokes and a 111-stroke afternoon.

Playing in her first round of the tournament, senior Stephanie Jondahl (Grafton, Wis.) finished with 135 strokes.

The Falcons finish their NACC Championship at Quit Qui Oc on Saturday afternoon.
