Falcons Finalize Scores at Whitewater Fall Invite

JANESVILLE, Wis. - The CUW women's golf team finished up the second day of the Fall Invite hosted by Wisconsin - Whitewater.

The Blue and White finished in eighth place with 761 total strokes.  The Warhawks of Wisconsin - Whitewater took home the trophy with 612 total strokes.

Leading the flock was senior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.).  Her day score was 91 strokes which placed her 23rd overall with a total of 180 strokes.

After shaving off a whopping nine strokes, sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) ended her weekend with 181 total strokes with a day-two score of 86 strokes.  This slotted her in 25th place.

Freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) finished day two with an 89, beating her day one total by five strokes.  She tallied a total of 183 strokes and placed 26th.

Senior Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) finished with 123 strokes on day two of the tournament which gave her a two-day score of 225 strokes.

Rounding out the flock was sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with 115 strokes on day two for a total of 226.

The Blue and White continue their weekend in Kansasville, Wisconsin on Sunday.
