
Falcons Finish 27 Holes at UW-Whitewater Spring Fling
JANESVILLE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team finished the first 27 holes of the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling on Saturday.
The Falcons finished in 12th place with 380 strokes in the first 18 holes and 192 strokes for the first nine holes of round two.
Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) leads the Falcons with 94 strokes in round one and a seven-over, 45 in the first nine holes of round two.
Senior Anne Schlageter (Mequon, Wis.) sits at 11-over par in the first nine holes of round two after finishing with 92 strokes in round one.
Before a 14-over par performance in the first nine holes of round two, junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) finished round one with 95 strokes.
Freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) sits at 16-over par through the first nine holes of round two after 99 strokes in round one.
Rounding out the Falcons was sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with 115 strokes in round one and 60 strokes in round two.
The Falcons finish the tournament on Saturday morning.
