Falcons represented well in NACC postseason awards

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Madelyn Landgraf and Brianna Wagner, along with head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones represented Concordia Wisconsin on the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference postseason honors list, the league office announced Thursday morning.

Brunner-Jones earned NACC Coach of the Year honors for the third time in her career after guiding the Falcons to the conference's outright regular season title with a 17-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the NACC Tournament. She led CUW to its fifth season of 20 wins during her 12th season at the helm.

Landgraf (senior, Elkhart Lake, Wis.) was named All-NACC First Team after leading CUW in scoring at 14.0 points per game while shooting 39.2 percent from the field. She also had 82 rebounds, 69 assists and a team-high 48 steals. Landgraf ranked second in the NACC with 113 free throws made. She also surpassed the 1,000 point plateau, becoming the 14th member in program history, and set the program's single season record for free throws made (113).

Wagner (sophomore, Fond du Lac, Wis.) earned All-NACC First Team honors after averaging 9.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. She three double-doubles throughout the season and had six double-figure rebounding games. Wagner rejected multiple shot attempts in 13-of-23 games played. She made 17 starts, ranked fourth in the NACC in blocked shots and seventh in rebounds per game.

The Falcons set the program's single season record for defensive field goal percentage (36.7) and defensive rebounds (720). They had winning streaks of six and seven games during the season. CUW posted a 9-3 record at home and a 10-1 record on the road.
