Men's Cross Country Ran at the NACC Championships

GENEVA, Ill. – The CUW men's cross country team competed at the NACC Championships on Saturday. The Falcons finished in sixth place as a team with 169 points.

The Raiders of MSOE defended their title with the victory at 36 points, with four finishers in the top 10, including the Athlete and Freshman of the Year, Patrick Lee at 26:10.1.

Junior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) claimed the silver medal and All-NACC honors in second place at 26:26.9.

In 29th place was freshman Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) at 28:47.2.

Freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 30:36.1 to finish in 57th place.

Freshman Mason Genke (Little Chute, Wis.) earned a 71st-place finish at 31:55. 7.

Junior Josh Peterson picked up a 79th-place finish at 32:36.1.

Junior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) came in 85th place at 33:41.2.

At 34:44.7, sophomore Leo Roemer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) finished in 92nd place.

Freshman Grant Portenier (Sheboygan, Wis.) placed 96th at 36:04.5.

Sophomore Dalton Hribar (Oconomowoc, Wis.) rounded out the flock in 99th place at 36:30.7.

CUW closes out the season on Nov. 12 at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships.
