CUW Claims Third Place at Parkside

KENOSHA, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team third place at the Parkside Lucian Rosa Invite with a team score of 90 while host school and NCAA Division II member, UW-Parkside took first with a team score of 15.

Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) was the first to finish for the Falcons, running a 27:34 8k, and claiming 11th place.

Behind Brey was sophomore Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.). Meier crossed the finish line in 23rd place with a time of 29:52.

Freshman Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) took third for CUW and ran a 33:34, claiming the 33rd spot overall.

Next to finish for Concordia were freshmen Riley Johnson (Cedar Lake, Ind.) and Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) who both ran for a time of 37:24, claiming the 35th and 36th spot.

In 37th place, with a time of 37:43 was senior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.).

Rounding out the CUW men's cross country squad was senior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) who ran a 40:10 and took 38th place.

CUW will resume competition on Friday, Sept. 29, when they will travel north to race in the UWEC BluGold Invitational.
