CUW Men Finish 13th at Aurora

GENEVA, Ill. – The CUW men's cross country team got back to work on Saturday at the Aurora Cross Country Invitational. The Falcons finished 13th as a team with 408 points. Central College took the team title with 21 points. Spencer moon of Simpson was the individual champion at 24:59.1.

Junior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) was the fastest Falcon on the day in 79th place at 28:39.1.

In 97th place was freshman Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) at 29:09.1.

Freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) clocked in at 30:31.3 in 149th place.

Freshman Mason Genke (Little Chute, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 32:24.9 in 180th place.

Junior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) placed 189th with a time of 32:46.9.

Sophomore Leo Roemer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) ran a time of 33:13.6 in 183rd place ahead of junior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) in 194th place at 33:17.0.

CUW runs again on Oct. 15 at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in West Allis, Wisconsin.
