Timmy Brey Takes the Crown at the NACC Championships

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's cross country team competed at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning. The Falcons finished in fourth place at 153 points. The Raiders of MSOE won the team title at 29 points.

Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) was the individual champion at 25:39.3. Brey is the third Falcon to claim the NACC Runner of the Year title. He joined Andy Ashenden in 2009 and 2010 and Micah Lorenzen in 2006 and 2007.

Freshman Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) finished in 23rd place at 27:25.7.

Sophomore Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) crossed the finish line at 28:28.6 in 51st place.

Freshman Karl Glick (Boca Raton, Fla.) grabbed 69th place at 29:21.6.

Freshman Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) earned an 86th-place finish at 30:30.6.

In 103rd place was freshman Riley Johnson (Cedar Lake, Ind.) at 33:07.5.

Senior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) picked up a 105th-place finish at 33:54.7.  

Freshman Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) finished in 107th place at 34:30.1 and senior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) was in 108th place at 25:36.2.

The Falcons will compete again at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships on Nov. 11.
