
Timmy Brey Earns All-Region Honors at NCAA North Regionals
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The CUW men's cross country team closed the 2022 season at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championship on Saturday. The Falcons finished in 26th place as a team with 749 points. The 10th-ranked Warhawks of Wisconsin-Whitewater won the crown with 73 points, 10 ahead of No. 4 Wisconsin-La Crosse at 83.
Junior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) earned All-Region honors finishing in the top-35 on Saturday in 33rd place at 25:28.1.
Freshman Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) placed 163rd at 28:22.1.
In 192nd place was freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) at 29:51.7.
Freshman Mason Genke (Little Chute, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 30:55.2 in 198th place.
Junior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) placed 200th with a time of 31:16.1.
Junior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) rounded out the flock in 205th place at 32:01.8.
The Falcons will return to action in the fall of 2023.
