Benjamin, Karvala finish top-10 at NACC Men's Golf Championship

AURORA, Ill. -- Nate Benjamin and Dylan Karvala each finished in the top-10 at the NACC Championship on Monday and Concordia Wisconsin ended in fourth place as a team at Stonebridge Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Nate Benjamin (Tucson, Ariz.) made an all-important jump up the leaderboard on Monday, as he went from a tie for 17th into five place overall to earn All-NACC honors. The righty had five birdies and eight pars during the final round. Over the last two days he sank 14 birdies.
- Concordia Wisconsin remained in fourth place overall after shooting a 300 to finish with 1,241 strokes.
- Sophomore Dylan Karvala (New Berlin, Wis.) secured All-NACC honors with a ninth-place finish. He drained four birdies over the final 18 holes and sank birdie putts on the fifth, eighth and 17th holes over the past two days.
- Junior Sam Schlosser (West Bend, Wis.) ended in a tie for 12th place after recorded nine pars and a pair of birdies on Monday. He had under 40 strokes on the front nine in each round of the NACC Championship.
- Junior Andrew Otto (Kewaskum, Wis.) shot his best round of the tournament with a 3-over par 75 on Monday after making four birdies, of which three were on the front nine. He made 10 birdies in the NACC Championship's four rounds and eight of those came over the past two days.
- Sophomore Wyatt Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) fired a 4-over par 76 on Monday and made four birdie and seven pars. The Millikin transfer entered the lineup for the final two rounds and made six birdies and 15 pars during the 36 holes played.
- Aurora won the team trophy with 1,196 strokes and had three players receive postseason recognition.
- JT Hudson won medalist honors with a 7-over par 295 total and was a stroke better than Josh Hentrich (Edgewood).

SEASON NOTE
- Concordia Wisconsin ends its season with eight top-10 finishes and set the program record low for an 18-hole round with a 290 score on April 23 at the Carthage Spring Invitational
