MEQUON, Wis. – As CUW's baseball team gears up for the 2023 season, the Falcons are excited to start regular season play.

The Falcons come into this season with a lot of experience and returning seniors to the field Sean Tillmon (Plainfield, Ill.), Johannes Haakenson (Janesville, Wis.), Tristan Largent (Verona, Wis.), Daniel Hahn (Cudahy, Wis.), Cole Aguirre (Chino Hills, Calif.) and Dillan Fike (Oak Lawn, Ill.). Returning to the mound includes seniors Ryan Green (Green Bay, Wis.) and Tyler Drezek (West Allis, Wis.).

Sean Tillmon returns after a successful 2022 campaign where he led the team with a .380 batting average with 60 hits and 40 runs. He also added 31 RBIs. Meanwhile, Johannes Haakenson led Concordia with six triples and 19 stolen bases.

Last year, the Falcons finished with an overall record of 18-22, including a 12-12 conference record, and finished seventh in the conference, just behind Concordia Chicago.

They are projected to finish sixth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, where Aurora is slotted to take the NACC crown.

The Falcons open up their season in San Antonio, Texas, where they will face the Tigers of Trinity University (TX.).
