CUW Women Third, Men Fifth in NACC All-Sports Awards

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – On Wednesday, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced the NACC 2022-23 All-Sports Awards. The Concordia Wisconsin women finished in third place with an average of 12.95 points and the men finished fifth with an average of 8.909 points.

The women's standings use a 17-point base, while the men's standings utilize a 16-point base. Both systems award points for a program's regular-season league finish as well as any advancement during a NACC Tournament.

The Spartans of Aurora claimed both titles and 14.00 points on the women's side and 13.100 points on the men's side.

On the women's side, Concordia Wisconsin was the only school to record 10 or more points in every sport on either the men's or women's side.

The softball and women's tennis programs led the flock with 17 points each after winning the NACC regular season and tournament titles.

The women's soccer team secured 14 points with its tournament title as did women's lacrosse its trip to the conference tournament finals.

Women's volleyball brought in 13.5 points with a share of the regular season title.

On the men's side, football led the way with 13 points in second place, men's lacrosse brought in 12.5 points and men's soccer had 12 points after claiming a share of the regular-season title.

The Concordia women have won the title six times, with the men winning twice.
