Matt Menzl: The Voice of the Falcons Claims Another Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northwoods League announced Matt Menzl as a Northwood League TV Announcer of the Year on Tuesday afternoon. This is the first time that he has claimed the honor.

A 2008 Concordia University Wisconsin graduate, Matt Menzl is known as one of the best broadcasters in the area, working games for the Milwaukee Admirals, the NCAA, the WIAA Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wisconsin-Parkside, along with being the voice of the Falcons.

"This is an amazing honor," said Matt Menzl. "My name is on the award, but there are so many people behind the scenes that don't get enough credit that make our broadcasts successful."

Matt Menzl has worked with the Chinooks for the last 10 seasons.

"This is another great honor for Matt," said CUW Director of Athletic Communications Jeremy Crawford. "There is not a better broadcaster in the area than Matt. We are truly blessed to have Matt here at CUW. He is one of the greatest assets to our university and helps give our student-athletes a superior experience."

Matt Menzl returns to the Falcon Athletic Network on Friday on the women's hockey call.
