Corkum wins NACC Women's Track & Field weekly award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Taylor Corkum of the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Track & Field team was named NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of April 24-30, the league office announced Monday.

Corkum (Wauwatosa, Wis.) won the pole vault at the St. Norbert Quadrangular after posting the top mark in the NACC at 3.42 meters. She and teammate Ariana Koehler (Lake Geneva, Wis.) each cleared 3.42 meters Saturday, with Koehler finishing in second place.

Corkum and the Falcons will take part in the NACC Outdoor Championships this Friday and Saturday at Benedictine.
