Rink Notes: Trine visits Falcons to conclude regular season

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team will host Trine to conclude the regular season this weekend at the Ozaukee Ice Center. The Falcons, who have already clinched a Slaats Cup Playoffs berth, will look to close the regular season with a pair of league wins.  

THE BASICS
- Who: Trine (4-15-1, 2-14 NCHA) at Concordia Wisconsin (10-12-1, 8-7-1 NCHA)
- When: Friday, February 16 – 5 p.m. / Saturday, February 17 – 3 p.m.
- Where: Ozaukee Ice Center – Mequon, Wisconsin

MEAT DAY/SENIOR DAY
- On Saturday the Falcons will honor the careers of three seniors after the game. More on that can be found in the Rink Notes. CUW will also host Meat Day on Saturday with free bacon being given away during the first intermission. A meat raffle will also take place with tickets being sold for $1.

DIGITAL GAME PROGRAM
- A digital game program for this weekend's game can be found here. A limited number of front-and-back programs will be available at the rink for $2. Fans can also access the digital game program at the rink by visiting cuwfalcons.com/program on their mobile devices.

RINK NOTES
- The Falcons close the regular season with two home games against Trine this weekend. CUW has already clinched a postseason berth and will be either the No. 4 or 5 seed in the Slaats Cup Playoffs, beginning next weekend.

- On Saturday, the Falcons will honor the careers of three seniors who will be playing in their final home games this weekend. Chloe Bachman, Amanda Curtin, and Lexi Holman will be recognized following Saturday's contest. They have led CUW to 40 wins over the past four years, making them the winningest class in program history.

- The Falcons know they will be on the road to open up the Slaats Cup Playoffs, but their seed and opponent have yet to be determined. CUW could face any of Adrian, St. Scholastica, or Lake Forest in the first round.

- This is Trine's first year with a women's hockey program. The Thunder have a pair of league wins this season, one over Aurora and one against Finlandia.
