Women's Hockey with four chosen as AHCA All-American Scholars

The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team had four players represented on the American Hockey Coaches Association All-American Scholar list, with the award being released in late September. The 2016-17 season was the first season in which the AHCA honored All-American Scholars.

To be chosen for the honor, a player must have averaged a 3.6 GPA and participated in 40 percent of their games in 2016-17. The Falcons, who always pride themselves on being excellent in the classroom, had four players from the 2016-17 honored.

A senior last season, and a graduate assistant, Nicole Krumwiede was one of the Falcons selections, along with returners Lexi Holman and Chloe Bachman. Emily Kuhlman was also honored as an AHCA All-American scholar.
