Rink Notes: Women's Hockey closes first half of schedule this weekend

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team returns home after a four-game road swing to host Northland in a two-game NCHA set this weekend. The Falcons will have over a month off after this weekend's games and are looking to close the first half of the season with a couple league wins.

 THE BASICS
- Who: Northland (3-5, 2-4 NCHA) at Concordia Wisconsin (6-4, 4-2 NCHA)
- When: Friday, December 1 – 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 2– 3:00 p.m.
- Where: Ozaukee Ice Center – Mequon, Wisconsin

DIGITAL GAME PROGRAMS
- A digital game program for this weekend's games can be found here. A limited number of front-and-back programs will be available at the rink for $2. Fans can also access the digital game program at the rink by visiting cuwfalcons.com/program on their mobile devices.

RINK NOTES
- The Falcons will play their final two games of the calendar year with a two-game NCHA home series against Northland. Northland is a member of the conference for the first time this season, and this weekend's matchups are the first ever between the programs.

- The Lexi Holman career goals watch has officially started as the senior captain has 33 scores during her time with the Falcons. Holman ranks fifth all-time but trails the top spot by just three goals. Sarah Luberda is the Falcons all-time leader with 36 goals.

- The Falcons went to Morrisville State last weekend and picked up a split against the Mustangs. Breanna Thomson was key in Saturday's win, making 41 saves in her first career shutout.

- The Falcons are 3-1 at home this season. They dropped the home opener against Lake Forest but have rebounded for three straight home victories. Northland is 2-3 in road games this season.
