White paces Men's Track & Field at Private College Invite
KENOSHA, Wis. – Junior Tyler White had a pair of strong performances in pacing the Concordia University Wisconsin Track & Field team to a third-place finish at the Private College Invite Saturday, hosted by Carthage College. White broke his own school record in the triple jump, which resulted in a first-place finish, while adding a second-place effort in the long jump.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- White (Milwaukee, Wis.) not only broke his own school record in the triple jump, but his leap of 14.02 meters ranks 10th nationally as well. White also had a second-place finish in the long jump, recording a mark of 6.52 meters.
- Roy (Appleton, Wis.) posted his season-best time in the 400, running a 52.41. It has been a strong start to the season for the sophomore who excels in the sprints.
- In the mile, senior Adam Fell (Mundelein, Ill.) posted a strong performance, running a season-best time of 4:39.9. Fell finished fifth in the event.
- The 55-meter hurdles saw the Falcons have two runners place inside the top four in sophomore Silas Hasselbrook (Missoula, Mont.) and junior Damon Nick (Slinger, Wis.). Hasselbrook posted a time of 8.11, while Nick was just behind at 8.36 as the two placed third and fourth, respectively.
- Senior Bathong Pham (Milwaukee, Wis.) placed third in the pole vault by clearing 3.80 meters. Pham also placed seventh in the long jump (6.11 meters), while sophomore Tyus Groos (Stevens Point, Wis.) earned a sixth-place finish in the event at 6.12 meters.
- The Falcons got a third-place finish in the distance medley relay as the team of Stephen Bernau (Courtland, Minn.), Mike Prue (Kenosha, Wis.), Zach Ziemann (Jackson, Wis.) and Michael Taylor (Denmark, Wis.) posted a time of 11:15.64. The performance is even more impressive, when considering the obstacles Prue has overcome to be competing this early in the season.

- The Falcons are at the UW-Stout Open next weekend with the meet scheduled to begin at noon.
