Location:
Spartan Stadium- Montgomery, Ill.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin was able to take the lead with under eight minutes left to play when junior Dagoberto Diaz (Woodburn, Ore.) capitalized on a free kick after a yellow card was given to Aurora's Jordan Schure. The kick propelled the Falcons to victory as they kept the Spartans from scoring to close out another NACC victory.
- Concordia Wisconsin put the pressure on early and often on the offensive side, first a shot by senior Colin Dibb (Hartland, Wis.) that was put on net and shortly after senior Luis Loya (Bolingbrook, Ill) scored on a loose ball that was nearly saved by goal keeper Phillip Lewy. The Falcons kept it up have two more shots on goal come from sophomore Justin Totsky (Colgate, Wis.) and Dibb again in the 15th and 16th minutes of the game.
- With the score in favor of CUW the Spartans looked to answer but found nothing but sophomore Nate Yeager's (Rio Rancho, N.M.) gloves. Two big saves from Yeager came in the 19th and 21st minutes of the game with two shots that were put on goal well by the Spartans attackers. Yeager was able to save four shots to keep Aurora off the board in the first-half.
- The Falcons were able to strike again as this time it was Diaz that was able to put home a beautiful cross from Loya to extend the Concordia Wisconsin lead to 2-0 in the 31st minute.
- The Falcons couldn't keep Aurora off the scoreboard for long as the Spartans were able to score on two occasions within six minutes of each other. In the 57th minute Collin Foreman was able to close the two-goal lead gap down to just one by sneaking one past Yeager. Six minutes later Xavier Ortiz was able to tie the game up with a strike from a free kick and make it 2-2 with just over 25 minutes left in the second-half.
