Best named MLC Offensive Player of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Marino Best was named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week after his career game last Saturday, the league office announced on Monday.
Best (Nanaimo, British Columbia) led the Falcons to a dominating 23-12 road win over Beloit after he recorded a career-high nine goals, which also tied the program record. The attacker also assisted on a score at the end of the third quarter for a 10-point game total – second most in a game in program history. Best also caused a turnover.
It is his first weekly conference honor of his career.
