Falcons Face Fierce Competition at Carthage
KENOSHA, Wis. – The CUW men's golf team headed to Carthage to participate in the Carthage College Spring Invite hosted by the Firebirds.
The Falcons finished in 13th place with a total of 356 strokes. Marian University finished in the top spot with a score of 303 strokes.
Senor Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) led the Falcons with a 14th-finish with 77 strokes.
Freshman Nico Murgas-Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) took team second with a score of 90 strokes.
This placed him in 62nd place for the invitational.
Junior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) finished with a total of 93 strokes for a 70th-place finish.
Freshman Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) finished in 72nd place with a Falcon fourth-place finish and 96 total strokes.
Freshman Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.) rounded out the Falcon squad with 97 total strokes and a 74th-place finish.
The Falcons look to snap out of their slump in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with the Mount Mercy Spring Invitational.
