Men's Golf Competes at Morningstar Masters

WAUKESHA, Wis. – CUW's men's golf team traveled to Waukesha on Saturday to compete in the Morningstar Masters, a warmup for next week's NACC Championships. 

As a team, the Falcons took 12th place with 336 strokes.

Junior Tyler Yaun (Rockton, Ill.) led the Falcons with 80 strokes, good for 32nd place overall. 

Behind Yaun was sophomore Trevor Wotring (Johnsburg, Ill.) who shot an 81, locking up 40th place overall.

Rounding out the Falcons was freshman Kean O'Neil (Elkhart Lake, Wis.), junior Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.), and senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) who finished their days with scores of 87, 88, and 89. 

The Blue and White will return to competition next weekend at the Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Illinois, for rounds three and four of the NACC Championships, with the first tee times set for 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
