CUW Finishes Play at the Midwest Region Classic
GALENA, Ill. – The CUW men's golf team wrapped up play at the Midwest Region Classic on the weekend. The Falcons lowered their score by 20 strokes on Saturday. The Blue and White finished in 24th place with 722 strokes. Edgewood won the competition with 600 strokes.
Sophomore Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) led the flock in 14th place with 155 strokes.
Junior Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) lowered his score by three strokes on Saturday to finish with 161 strokes in 35th place.
Freshman Nathan Ubben (Appleton, Wis.) improved in his second round by nine strokes to finish in 126th place at 201 strokes.
Joshua Samsell dropped 15 strokes from his first-round score to finish in 130th place at 205 strokes.
CUW returns to play at the WLC Fall Invitational.
