Men’s Golf Finishes First Round of NACC Championship

KOHLER, Wis. – The CUW men's golf team finished the first round of the NACC Championships on Sunday.

The Falcons traveled to Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin to take on the best the NACC has to offer. 

The NACC Championship day one was led by Aurora shooting a total of six over and 294 strokes.

The Falcon scoring was led by senior Jordan Carlson (Kewaskum, Wis.) who posted a 77-stroke day taking 15th place in the NACC. 

Junior Carsten Zange (Robins, Iowa) claimed second place for the Falcons shooting nine over and recording 81 stokes on the day. 

Sophomore Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) came in the middle of the Falcon pack taking 86 strokes on the day.  Junior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) followed close behind with 89 strokes.

The last of the Falcon team was Leighton Marion-Burns, a freshman from Regina, Saskatchewan, came into the clubhouse with a round one score of 102.

The Falcons continue their NACC Championship hunt again at Blackwolf Run Monday when they tee off at 10 AM.
