Falcons Compete at WLC
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The CUW men's golf team headed to WLC to compete in the WLC Spring Invitational.
The Falcons took 12th place with a total of 361 strokes. MSOE took first place with a score of 309 total strokes.
Senior Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) took second place in the overall tournament with a score of 74 strokes. The leader of the tournament shot a 71.
Second place for the Falcon team was freshman Nico Murgas-Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) with 88 strokes which put him in 58th place. Freshman Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) was not far behind with a total of 95 strokes for 65th place.
Junior Tyberius Neideffer (Racine, Wis.) took team-fourth with a total of 104 strokes for a 68th-place finish.
Sophomore Josef Schmitt (Scottsdale, Ariz.) rounded out the team with a 70th-place finish and a total of 123 strokes.
The Falcons head to Carthage on Tuesday to compete in the Carthage Spring Invitational.
