Ainara Sainz de Rozas Voted NACC Student-Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its first Student-Athlete of the Week honor for cross country on Thursday morning. Ainara Sainz de Rozas claimed the first honor of the year for her performance at ST. Norbert.

A junior from Madrid, Spain, Ainara Sainz de Rozas is claiming the honor for the first time this season and for the second time in her career.

On Saturday, Sainz de Rozas helped the Falcons defend their NCAA Division III title at the St. Norbert Tom Berry Invite.

She led all NCAA Division III runners and finished in second place overall in the five-kilometer race at 19:22.6

Sainz de Rozas and the Falcons return to action on Sept. 14 at home at the Ken Weidt Classic.
