CUW Women Claim 25th Place at NCAA North Regionals

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The CUW women's cross country team wrapped up the 2022 season on Saturday morning at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships. The Falcons finished in 25th place with 710 points along with Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference foe St. Norbert. No. 8 Carleton claimed the team title with 41 points ahead of No. 9 Wisconsin-La Crosse at 64 points.

Junior Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.) was the fastest Falcon on the day in 87th place at 24:25.0.

In 144th place was freshman Abigail Poehlman (Hubertus, Wis.) at 25:28.9.

Senior Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) clocked in at 25:37.0 in 151st place.

Freshman Melanie Arvis (Berwyn, Ill.) followed behind in 159th place at 25:46.3.

Senior MaryGrace Cleinmark (Danvers, Ill.) secured a time of 26:09.2 in 173rd place.

Freshman Danielle Van Grinsven (Appleton, Wis.) was in 178th place at 26:21.2.

Junior Abigail Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) ran a time of 26:51.2 in 190th place.

The Falcons will run again in the 2023 fall season.
