Women’s Tennis scheduled to play UW-Whitewater in NCAA Tournament

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin will face UW-Whitewater in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament, which will take place in Whitewater, Wis., on Friday.

The start time will be announced on the Women's Tennis schedule page (click here) once decided on Tuesday afternoon. The winner will then face the winner of the Gustavus Adolphus versus St. Scholastica match.

Concordia Wisconsin enters the match with a 20-5 overall record and recently won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament on Sunday for the third-consecutive year. They also cruised to the NACC regular season title with a 9-0 record. In addition, the Falcons have won eight of their last 10 matches.

UW-Whitewater owns a 19-6 overall record and won the WIAC Championship by four points. During dual meets against league foes they posted a 6-0 record. The Warhawks have won six of their last eight matches. Last season they won their opening round NCAA Tournament match, 5-0, over University of Northwestern (MN) before losing to Hope, 5-3, to end its season.
