NEWSWORTHY NOTES
• HELPING OUT: Concordia Wisconsin recorded 16 assists at Fontbonne on 21 goals. This season they have assisted on 64-of-104 goals or 61.5 percent. Entering the game, their assist percentage is the second best for a season in program history (1st is 68.5 in 2014).
• HAT TRICKS: The Falcons have had five players this season record at least one hat trick and Keijo Day is the hottest offensive player at the moment, recording a hat trick in four-straight games.
• THE SERIES, LAST MEETING: Aurora defeated Concordia Wisconsin, 14-6, in the MLC Tournament Championship game last season. Prior to the loss, the Falcons won 11-9 over the Spartans on the road. Each of the last three season these two teams have met in the MLC Tournament Championship game.
• SCOUTING AURORA: The Spartans enter with a six-game winning streak dating back to March 14. During their winning streak, they have outscored opponents by a combined 92-35 scoring margin. Aurora boasts the best man-up (38.1) and faceoff percentage (64.6) in the MLC, while also ranking sixth nationally in clear percentage (89.6).
