Wrestling Will Host the 30th CUW Open

MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia Wisconsin wrestling program will host the 30th CUW Open on Saturday. The open is one of the top NCAA Division III wrestling tournaments in the country. 

CUW will host 37 ranked wrestlers on Saturday.

Overall, nearly 300 wrestlers will compete on eight mats on Saturday. 

Oeyton Smith will lead the Falcons at 197 pounds and is ranked 18th on NCAA Division III by The Open Mat. 

Four teams are ranked at the tournament are No. 2 Wartburg, No. 9 North Central, No. 11 Wabash and No. 18 Loras. 

The first round will begin at 9:00 and the finals will be at 4:30.
