Nord, Kemnitz lead CUW wrestlers at Concordia Open

Senior Josh Nord placed 8th at the Concordia Wrestling Open
Saturday to lead Falcon entries. The meet, Wisconsin's largest,
included 330 wrestlers from eight states.
Kurt Kemnitz was 3-2 at 125 lbs. and Marcus Lubner finished 2-2 at
133. Both lost their "place" matches on close decisions.
Freshman Jordan Semevolos was 4-2 at 149. His first collegiate win
was an exciting 8-7 decision over Elmhurst's Zach Geyer.
Defending National Champion Isaac Dukes of Case Western was voted
the meet's Outstanding Wrestler as he cruised to the title in a
field of 50 entrants.
Bret Corner's Falcons return to action on Friday at 6pm when they
battle Knox in a dual at MSOE prior to the MSOE Invite the
following day.
