Four Falcons Earn Women's Lacrosse All-NACC Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its all-conference honors and major award winners on Thursday morning. The Falcons landed three First Team All-NACC Selections in Brenna Bieniek, Katelyn Cardinale and Eliana Fuchs. Anna Gong was selected to the All-NACC Second Team and Katelyn Cardinale was voted as the Freshman of the Year.

Katelyn Cardinale

A freshman attacker from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Katelyn Cardinale is earning her first All-NACC honor. She is the first Falcon to be named the NACC Freshman of the Year and the fourth to claim a conference Freshman of the Year title, while CUW claimed the honor four times in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference. She leads the flock with 51 points on 45 goals and six assists. Cardinale has 31 ground balls, 20 draw controls and caused nine turnovers. She scored a season-high six goals at Marian.

Brenna Bieniek

A sophomore defender from Shakopee, Minnesota, Brenna Bieniek is claiming her first All-NACC selection. Bieniek has won 47 draw controls, scored a goal against Kalamazoo and added an assist against Beloit and Illinois Tech. She also has 35 ground balls and caused 15 turnovers.

Eliana Fuchs

A junior midfielder from Brookfield, Wisconsin, Eliana Fuchs is claiming her second-straight All-NACC accolade with a second-team selection in 2022. Fuchs has recorded 37 goals on the season with a team-high 13 assists for 50 points. The Wisconsin native also leads Concordia with 52 draw controls, while also adding 33 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers.

Anna Gong

A junior defender from Phoenix, Arizona, Anna Gong is making her first appearance on an All-NACC team. Gong was a pain for NACC offenses with a team-high 30 caused turnovers. The amazing Arizona native also grabbed 41 ground balls and won five draw controls. She scored seven goals and four assists on the season. Gong posted a season-high three points against Beloit.
