Reiter named MWLC Player of the Week
NAPERVILLE, Ill.
- Concordia University Wisconsin freshman women's lacrosse
student-athlete Sammi Reiter earned her first career Midwest
Women's Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week honor on Monday
afternoon, the league office announced.
The midfielder scored 10 goals on 13 shots as the
Falcons finished 1-1 on the week. She scored four goals during a
10-6 victory - the program's first win - over Fontbonne University
on Sunday, March 25. The Stillwater, Minn., native then tied a
single-game program record with six goals in a 12-8 defeat to
Oberlin College on Saturday, March 31.
The 5-foot-6 righty has scored 24 of the Falcons 42
goals this season on 30 shots. She has also caused a team-high 11
turnovers.
