Women's Golf featured youth and experience

MEQUON, Wis. -- Like all of the other sports that compete in the spring, Concordia Wisconsin's Women's Golf program was unable to improve upon what it built during the fall portion of the schedule. The Falcons did record success during the fall though.

They placed fourth in the NACC Championship Preview event and in the NACC Championship, which is the ultimate gauge of where they stand against other league schools. In the Preview event, junior Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) led the team with an 89 to tie for fourth place and was six shots off first. She had carded six pars during the single round.

In the NACC Championship, the team was fourth with 1,183 strokes and was 32 from third place. Freshman Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) rose to the top of the lineup with a team-low 281 score (89-97-95) and was just two strokes shy of earning All-NACC honors. She had 11 pars of the course of 36 holes.

The Falcons roster was mixed with youth and experience, with three freshmen and three upperclassmen (one senior, two juniors).

Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) ended her career after four years on the links, having competed in 27 rounds during her time. She had a career round when she shot a 98 during the second round at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invitational on September 21.
