Women's Golf competes at Marian Invitational

FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's women's golf program took eighth at the Marian Invitational on Sunday at Whispering Springs Golf Course and Gabrielle Flocco led the lineup with a tie for 26th position on the leaderboard.

Falcon Individuals: Gabrielle Flocco (94-101 -- 195), Amy Carpenter (105-96 -- 201), Taylor Chisolm (111-108 -- 219), Madison Ferch (130-135 -- 265), Hanah Conger (146-136 -- 282)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons shot back-to-back team scores of 440 to finish in eighth place as a team.
- Freshman Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) led the lineup with a tie for 26th after shooting a 195 total, which included a 94 during the opening round on Saturday.
- Junior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) improved nine strokes from day one to two and carded a 201 total (105-96), while senior Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) shot a 219 total (111-108) and was one of three Falcons to better their scores.
- Freshman Madison Ferch (Davenport, Iowa) signed for a 265 total (130-135) and freshman Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) made the greatest improvement by 10 strokes after shooting a 146-136 (282 total).
- Lake Forest won the team trophy with a 700 total (353-347).
- Lily Sheppard won medalist honors with a 170 (89-81) score.
