Men's Cross Country Claims Private School Crown

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's cross country team claimed the crown at the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday morning. The Falcons placed first as a team with 29 points in the nine team field. St. Norbert finished in second place at 59 points.

Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) was the individual champion at 25:52.1.

Sophomore Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured the bronze medal at 26:34.2.

In seventh place was freshman Jonah Slavik (Muskego, Wis.) at 27:27.6.

Junior Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) was the fourth Falcon in the top 10 in eighth place at 27:41.1.

Sophomore Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 28:12.6 in 13th place.

Aaron Klug rounded out the flock in 54th place at 32:36.1.

The Falcons look to ride this momentum into the NACC Championships on Nov. 2.
