Men's Cross Country Takes 19th Place at NCAA Regionals
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships on Saturday. The Falcons finished 19th place as a team with 581 points. Wisconsin-La Crosse took the team crown with 43 points. Mohammed Bati of Augsburg was the individual champion.
Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) earned All-North Region honors once again in 16th place at 24:59.80.
Sophomore Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) recorded a time of 26:26.30 in 88th place.
Junior Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) finished in 135th place at 27:33.10.
In 161st place was sophomore Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) at 28:16.80.
Freshman Jonah Slavik (Muskego, Wis.) secured 181st place with a recorded time of 29:29.70.
Sophomore Riley Johnson (Cedar Lake, Ind.) rushed to the finish line at 31:05.90 in 199th place.
Sophomore Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) rounded out the Birds in 209th place at 32:56.70.
The NCAA will announce the qualifiers for the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Sunday.
