
Men’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Elmhurst
ELMHURST, Ill. – The CUW men's cross country team opened the 2021 season on Friday evening at the Elmhurst Early Bird Invite. The Blue and White finished in fifth place as a team with 142 points. The Cardinals of North Central led the way with 18 points.
Sophomore Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) led the way for CUW in eighth place at 19:46.
Sophomore Richard Schaefer (Racine, Wis.) recorded a time of 20:31 in 13th place.
In 36th place, was freshman Dominic Willadson (Sheboygan, Wis.) at 21:42.
Sophomore Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.)earned points in 48th place at 22:23.
Sophomore Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) recorded 57 points for the Falcons at 23:34.
Freshman Matthew DiMercurio (Florissant, Mo.) crossed the finish line at 23:54 in 60th place.
Freshman Leo Roemer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) ran a time of 23:55 and senior Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.) was at 26:27.
CUW returns home on Saturday, Sept. 11, for the Ken Weidt Invitational.
