Men’s Cross Country claims second place at home

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team secured a second-place finish in the final race of the fall season against Edgewood and Wisconsin Lutheran. The Blue and White finished the five-kilometer race with 53 points. Wisconsin Lutheran won the race with 25 points and Edgewood rounded out the scoring with 72 points.

Freshman Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) led the flock in second place with a time of 16:29.8.

In 10th place was junior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) at 17:44.7.

Freshman Kaden Torres (Big Rapids, Mich.) clocked in at 17:52.3 to finish in 11th place.

Freshman Huy Nguyen (Pennsauken, N.J.) recorded a 14th place finish at 18:14.6.

Freshman Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) crossed the finish line at 18:30.0 to stand in 16th place.

Freshman Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) recorded a time of 19:28.5 in 19th place.

Following behind was freshman Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) in 20th place at 19:31.3.

Sophomore Tim Steinke (Brookfield, Wis.) rounded out the lineup for the Falcons at 22:30.3 in 23rd place.

The Saturday race is the last scheduled event for the Falcons.
