Men’s Cross Country Finishes Second; Brey Wins Title at WLC

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team competed against live competition for the first time in 2020 on Saturday at the Warrior Invitational. The Falcons finished in second place with 38 points. Wisconsin Lutheran won its event with 23 points and Lakeland was in third place at 78 points.

Freshman Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) opened his collegiate career with a victory at 27:15.44.

Freshman Richard Schaefer (Racine, Wis.) finished in fourth place with a time of 28:27.49.

Clocking in at 29:26.89 was freshman Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) in 10th place.

Following Ramstack was freshman Huy Nguyen (Pennsauken, N.J.) in 11th place at 29:32.55.

Junior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) recorded a 12th-place finish at 29:32.85.

Freshman Kaden Torres (Big Rapids, Mich.) clocked in at 20:02.61 in 14th place.

Freshman Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) crossed the finish line at 31:03.95 in 17th place.

Freshman Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) rounded out the flock in 18th place at 31:49.32.

The Falcons return to action on Saturday at CUW.
