Reese finishes third at Men's Cross Country NACC Championships

MEQUON, Wis. – Craig Reese had one of his best races of the season as he finished third at the NACC Championships to pace the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Cross Country team Saturday. Reese earned All-NACC honors with his third-place finish and helped lead the Falcons to a sixth-place finish at the meet.

THE BASICS
- Falcons Finish: 6th of 11 (153 points)
- Location: Concordia Wisconsin – Mequon, Wisconsin
- Falcons Top Five: Reese, Teigen, Huerta-Gutierrez, Hutchins, Wilcox

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Reese (Germantown, Wis.) impressed in finishing third among 91 runners. The sophomore posted a time of 27:04, finishing behind only NACC Champion Jacob Jodat of Wisconsin Lutheran and David Galvan of Aurora.

- Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) turned in a 20th-place effort with a solid race for the Falcons. Teigen crossed the finish line in 28:01.6.

- Emanuel Huerta-Gutierrez (Walworth, Wis.) was next in line for the Falcons with a time of 29:37.2. Following him was Zachary Hutchins (Kewaskum, Wis.) was at 32:50.5.

- Matthew Wilcox (APO, AE) and Nikolai Haak (Elizabethtown, Ind.) rounded out the Falcons lineup with times of 33:03 and 33:14.1, respectively.

RACE RESULTS
- Aurora captured the team title with 46 points, posting five runners in the top 18. Jodat of Wisconsin Lutheran captured the individual title.

UP NEXT
- The Falcons will run at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals in two weeks with the men's race starting at 11 a.m.
