Spencer Herman named the Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) named Spencer Herman the Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

A freshman from Appleton, Wisconsin, Spencer Herman is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.

Against Rockford, Herman went for 17 kills and one error in its 3-0 win over Rockford…Swung at a .615 clip while digging four balls and tallying three blocks…His .615 hitting percentage was a program record and he helped break the team hitting percentage record as it hit .459 against Rockford.

This is the second Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week honor for the program and first since James Althoff on Feb. 12, 2019.

Herman and the Falcons will compete in the NACC Tournament on Tuesday night at MSOE.
