Spencer Herman grabs NACC weekly honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) named Spencer Herman its Student-Athlete of the Week in men's volleyball on Tuesday morning.

A freshman from Appleton, Wisconsin, Spencer Herman is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.

He is the second Falcon to claim the title this season, with junior James Althoff doing so on Feb. 23.

On Tuesday night, he collected 19 kills in a five-set victory at Lakeland. He also had two assists and 13 digs to finish with a double-double performance.

He helped the Falcons break the school record with a .400 hitting percentage at Edgewood. He finished the match with 13 kills, one assist, three service aces and three block assists.

Herman and the Falcons return to play on Friday night against Dominican.
